What makes Fleet Alliance a winner in the SME fleet sector?

We all like an award, an additional trophy for the cabinet – the recognition is important and it’s always good to receive a meaningful endorsement.

But this one is so central to what we do, it really means a lot to us.

The trade website Broker News held its annual awards in London at the beginning of April – and very enjoyable it was, too. But the best part was receiving the award for Best SME Fleet Broker.

The judges said that Fleet Alliance demonstrated an “Awesome breadth of services – better than most leasing companies.”

I know I’m biased but I would agree!

The central tenet of this business is to be a sustainable mobility provider. We remain that, of course, but the market we specialise in is the SME fleet sector.

Central to our offering is Fleet 360, a suite of products that provides a broad range of services for managing a fleet of vehicles – without requiring a full time fleet manager, which is a luxury few SME businesses can afford.

Fleet 360 provides SMEs with greater operational flexibility, improved fleet insight and enhanced cost savings through our e-Fleet platform.

Among its sophisticated solutions, it can help fleets decarbonise by highlighting which drivers are able to switch easily to electric if a business is undertaking an EV transition, so the switchover can be managed efficiently over a period of time without putting unnecessary stress on the business.

Cost savings are always important to SME fleets so we ensure that every car or van is procured at the best possible price. Each new contract is run through our panel of funders, so the best deal on the day wins ensuring SME fleets keep costs under control.

We then guarantee that drivers have access to the correct funders through our Driver App should they require replacement tyres and so on. The Driver App has the details of the car specific to that driver and ensures management of the fleet is not taken up by calls from drivers requesting information that can easily be found on the app.

Our SME fleet offering goes further, though.

Our Electric Car Salary Sacrifice Scheme is designed to support SMEs with a reduced number of eligible employees to take advantage of the tax breaks available, so all staff can benefit from the move to more environmentally sustainable cars. We can offer them the full range of low and zero tailpipe carbon cars thanks to our network of manufacturers and our range of funders.

It works, too.

One of our salary sacrifice customers is the Unity Schools Partnership. This was what Sarah Garner, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, had to say:

“One of our legal obligations as a multi-academy trust is to report on environmental initiatives through the Streamlining Energy and Carbon Reduction (SECR) report. And offering electric cars through salary sacrifice is one of our carbon-reduction measures under its terms. I would highly recommend Fleet Alliance for their customer service, technical knowledge and ability to source the right car for the right person at the right time. No-one who has taken an electric car through the scheme has regretted it.”

So while we believe we have an exceptional offering that provides sustainable fleet solutions to SME fleets, it’s good to be recognised that we are the best in the sector at providing that service.

Fleet Alliance: Best SME Fleet Broker. We’re honoured and very pleased. It’s affirmation of everything we do.
